At Monster Design, ‘thinking big’ means aligning creativity and strategy for sophisticated solutions that speak to the bigger picture — and seek deeper relationships with each client’s customers.
Based in Seattle, Monster Design emerged in 1998 to bridge the gap between smart business strategy and creative expression. Since our inception, we’ve been relentless in delivering powerful work that transcends theory and brings our clients real-world engagement. We pour our extensive knowledge into creating exceptional outcomes — from branding to website + app development to print and illustration. The result is savvy solutions that connect to your long-term vision. We’ve designed for some the world’s most recognizable brands, innovative nonprofits, growing companies across industries including technology, healthcare, retail, consumer products, professional services, real estate, and education.
Our goal? To meet each unique business need by building the right team of creative, strategic, and technical professionals for the right result, creating a seamless end-to-end experience that brings rewards (not headaches). With an established network of partners, we scale to fit your needs—not ours. This allows us the creative flexibility and agility to respond to varying project scopes with serious precision and zero bloat.
Insightful, inspired, and sophisticated. That’s our Monster.
Theresa Stone began Monster in 1998 with the vision of an agency where smart business strategy aligns with creative expression. That vision has proven worthy, as Theresa and her team have designed and implemented award-winning creative for countless clients who continue to come back for more. Her unending passion for finding the best solution drove her to obtain a master’s degree in digital media in 2012 from the University of Washington. Born and raised in Seattle, Theresa understands what a special place this city is. She and her husband, a Seattle firefighter, are committed to be part of this community and both serve on boards for local foundations.
Theresa’s nearly 30 years of experience spans countless industries, including technology, healthcare, retail, consumer products, professional services, food and wine, education, nonprofit, and community projects. She also brings the perspective of a successful retailer, having co-founded a kids’ clothing line called MeGiant, which she built and took nationwide before selling so Theresa could focus all of her attention on Monster Design.
Her commitment to bringing real-world understanding and results-driven perspective to clients who seek deeper relationships with their customers is the foundation for Monster’s approach—and its success.
When she’s not developing elegant solutions and powerful marketing engagements, Theresa wrangles three crazy kids and two fat bulldogs. She is on the board of the Daughters’ Guild, coaches both soccer and basketball, fits in travel where she can…and through it all manages to hold her title as the 5am weirdo at the gym.
